FIRST LOOK MEDIA LICENSES TRIGGERMEN TO WINCHESTER IN THE UK
Los Angeles, CA (May XX, 2002) Co-Chairmen Robbie Little and Chris Cooney of First Look Media (OTC BB: FRST; http://www.firstlookmedia.com) announced today that First Look Media has licensed the rights to John Bradshaw's Triggermen to Winchester Films in the UK. Winchester plans on releasing the film in November/December 2002.
Written and directed by Bradshaw, the film stars Donnie Walberg (The Sixth Sense, Southie), Michael Rapaport (Bamboozled, The 6th Day), Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black, Boys and Girls), Pete Postlethwaite (Usual Suspects, Lost World: The Jurassic Park) and Amanda Plummer (The Fisher King, Pulp Fiction). Written by Tony Johnston, the film is produced for International West Pictures (IWP) by John Gillespie, Deborah Kiss, Sabine Mueller, and Mark Thomas. Triggermen was a German production shot in Canada.
Filled with loaded guns, bumbling blunders and comic twists, Triggerman combines a series of interlocking stories packed with energy, invention, and comic dialogue. Two small-time con men are mistaken for a pair of hired hit men and try to take advantage of the Crime Boss who is hiring them. Big mistake! The men are thrown into a world of socializing with the criminally insane. That's when the real hit men show up.
Great action, strong cast, high conceptî said Little. These bullets and octane films are a proven commodity in the international marketplace.
