ERIK von DETTEN (Deacon) launched his career at age nine playing Nicholas on “Days of Our Lives”, further developing his reputation throughout the 90’s as a capable young actor.

His feature film debut came in the Chuck Norris action-comedy "Top Dog", subsequently appearing with Kieran Culkin in "Amanda", as Wally Cleaver in the movie "Leave it to Beaver" and, most recently, in the family comedy "The Princess Diaries". Von Detten is distinguished by his vocal work in a range of films, including "Toy Story" (as the menacing Sid), "Hercules", "Tarzan" and "Recess: School’s Out".

Also lending his pipes to the animated series “Recess” and “The Legend of Tarzan,” Von Detten has appeared bodily in a range of other television projects including the remake of “Escape to Witch Mountain,” “A Season of Hope,” “In the Line of Duty: Kidnapped”, “Christmas Day,” “A Stranger to Love,” “Brink!” (starring as a teen obsessed with skating) and “Replacing Dad.” In addition to the pilot for “Meego,” he was a series regular for three seasons on “So Weird” and starred in “Odd Man Out.”

Among his guest appearances, Von Detten has been seen in episodes of “ER,” “Mr. Rhodes,” “7th Heaven” and “Raising Dad.”
